What balancing is and why it is charged

A wheel is never perfectly balanced from the factory — neither rim nor tyre. The difference is small, but at 120 km/h it turns into vibration the customer feels in the steering wheel.

What the machine does

The balancer spins the wheel and measures where weight is missing. Small weights are clipped or glued to the rim — grams, not a complex job, but it must be precise.

Why "just mount it" fails

Without balancing: steering vibration at speed, uneven tread wear, worn suspension parts over time. The ten-minute saving returns as a complaint in a month.

When it is needed

At every fitting, after hitting a pothole, when vibration appears, and when weights fall off. It is cheap insurance — always included in a proper fitted price.
